Thame Football Academy Trials - Tues 9th April

With just under four weeks until our next

trial of 2019, here's what you can expect if you decide to join our 16-19 Education Programme.

Over the two years you will gain two qualifications*;

Level 3 NVQ in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport

Level 3 Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity

*you may be required to retake GCSE Maths and English or Functional Skills if you do not achieve a 4 or above in your GCSEs.

It is open to talented footballers, both male and female, aged between 16–18 years, who express the desire to combine Professional Football Training and Development with a full time education programme.

What does a typical week at our academy look like?

Monday - AM-education, PM-training

Tuesday - AM-education, PM-training

Wednesday - Game day (if there is no game scheduled, students will either be given a study day or will be required to attend sessions to catch up on work they may have missed)

Thursday - AM-education, PM-training

Friday - Study day or extra education sessions

The course is fully funded by the academy, and the only cost to parents will be the cost of the training kit which contains the following;

Tracksuit - full zip jumper and tracksuit bottoms

T-shirt x2

Long sleeve training top x2

Shorts x2

Rain jacket

Duffel bag

Our training kit is all Nike branded kit with our logo embroidered on to it, and additional items may be purchased.

We have a minibus that will collect from Aylesbury bus station each morning, and return students at the end of the day. This service is free of charge.
