Frequently Asked Questions
🗣 What does my child need to bring to an ASL Holiday Course?
📣 Children will need to bring a packed lunch, snack and refillable water bottle. A change of clothes and shoes may be required in the winter months.
🗣 What should my child wear?
📣 Children should wear comfortable clothing that will not restrict their ability to take part. Sports clothing and trainers are preferred. Please do not allow your child to wear any open toed shoes.
🗣 What sports, games and activities will my child take part in on ASL Holiday Courses?
📣 Each day our coaches plan for a wide variety of games and sports to ensure all children are included. At times, depending on numbers and ages of children, there may be two activities running alongside each other to offer more variety.
🗣 How much/what food should i put in my child's lunchbox?
📣 This is entirely up to you as you will know best how much you child will need to eat at lunch time. However, it is important to know that we uphold a NO NUT POLICY and therefore please do not send your child to our courses with nuts as these will be removed and disposed of.
🗣 Can my child bring their phone/tablets/electronics to the holiday course?
📣 Electronics are discouraged across all of our holiday courses. Children will not be allowed to play on phones/tablets/electronics throughout the day, so it is best to avoid bring these in at all. Should a parent request a child to have their mobile phone because they are walking home on their own etc, this must be handed to the course leader at the start of the day.
🗣 How do i pay using childcare vouchers?
📣 You are only currently able to use childcare vouchers for our Multi-Sports holiday courses and Wrap-around services. When booking online you will need to enter the code CCV2019 to bypass the requested payment. You will then need to pay for your sessions via your childcare voucher provider. If you require our carer number etc, please contact our admin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
